Great story where an ancient race that had allied with the Potter family decided to check in on the current generation and was not happy with what they found. The story begins with Harry disappearing from the Dursley. When he comes back there are obvious changes the most import is that he is carrying around some extra personalities in his mind. Then things get even weirder with Draco deciding that Harry is his mate. There is no slash in this story even though they are mates. The final confrontation is wonderful and the reaction to Harry's adopted father is funny.

The following quote is directly from the author and explains why I am posting this on both sites:
"This story was not marked as slash and contained little physical contact as the relationship was about a straight Harry and a pansexual Draco who had to work through the years of animosity to build a gradual friendship and then a long-term partnership. Anything else would come later…do I hear a sequel in the making?"
I do hope that the artist decides to do a sequel it should be interesting.

Awesome story! This is a very pivotal point in the story and the author uses it well. In this case Sirius stops by Godrics Hollow instead of continuing his flight to safety in order to say goodbye. In doing so he realizes the mistakes he makes and what he could and should have done in regards to Harry. At that point the desire to get as far away from England suddenly fades and he realizes that he was under a mild compulsion spell. His resolve strengthens when he realizes that he can no longer trust Dumbledore explicitly. It is time he turned to his roots because the only one that can stand up to Dumbledore, the Ministry, the Wizengamot and the Deatheators is going to be Lord Black of the Ancient and Noble House of Black. Look out Britain the Blacks and Potters are back and stronger then ever. Voldemort will never know what hit him.

Excellent story, I love this story mainly because it flows so well and is realistic. Rich Squib customers come to the Dursleys for dinner and just happen to hear a voice under the stair. At first he thinks it is a house elf after checking because he was sure he was dealing with muggles he finds he was wrong. Upon realizing it is a child's voice he asks his name, when Marcus Black hears the name Harry Potter he is furious. He calls to his wife Clytemnestra Malfoy Black and after hearing the pitiful excuses and comments they take 6 year old Harry away.
 They know they must do something and Marcus has a portrait of the Potters as he was close to James. After consulting they decide to make him a Black using dark blood magic. He is presented as the son of Regina Malfoy and Sirius Black. And the story takes off from there the most interesting characters to me are Cassiopeia Black and Abraxas Malfoy. Cassiopeia finds out the truth almost from the beginning but decides he has enough Black blood through his grandmother and the blood ritual as well as the power to defeat the Dark Lord and lets not forget being a parselmouth to become an excellent Heir and future Lord preferably dark but would settle for grey. Dumbledore never saw them coming.

Another awesome story by Robst who has so far never written a story less then excellent. In this one Vernon returns Harry to the goblins who agree to take Harry into escrow.  Harry has been raised as a warrior and sent to Hogwarts in order to decide if he wishes to be considered Goblin or Wizard. The meeting with Hermione on the train is pivotal to the story. Hermione fell at first site of Harry who looked as if he stepped out of Pride and Prejudice as a younger version of Darcy. With the support of Hermione he foils everyone of Dumbledore's plans to bring him back into control. He brings Neville along for the ride and shows what a Harry Potter raised to think for himself, fight for what he believes in and independent without being arrogant can accomplish. The Wizarding World will never know what hit them.

A good story that in the last few chapters became a great story. The story line of Harry being abused then found by a member of the staff usually Snape then rescued as been done a thousand times. This is definitely one of the better ones. Good Malfoy and a great manipulative Dumbledore make the story come to life. The drawings in the cupboard was an innovative touch and made the transition from guardian to son easier to understand from Harry's point of view. His angel told him that the Dark Man would save him and he did. The characters are human not saints and make mistakes. There is no Weasley bashing although Ron does prove that he is an immature git. The ending will surprise you and the fact that justice was served just makes it more enjoyable. I know I cheered. I do hope there is a sequel dealing with Sirius Black because we all know that he will never stand for Severus Snape being the father of Harry Potter.

The continuation of Broken Wings and a great story in of itself. It does drag in a couple of spots but the author quickly brings the action back. I do love the way the author shows that just because you defeat the monster happily ever after has to be worked for. You cannot go through war, danger, death, abuse and still be a calm, cheery individual. When the battles are over is when you need your loved ones the most even if it is to give that boot in the ass to get help. Hedwig is hilarious you can see that this is an owl with an opinion and she is not afraid to tell her human that he is out of line.

I first read this story a couple of years ago then could not find it again which is the main reason for the blog. Not finding stories again not just this particular story.

Awesome story because of the characterization, you get a real feel for the players. If that makes any sense what I mean is that the author gives you enough background that you can see the connections. Snape has always been the perfect partner for Harry because he can truthfully say been there, done that and if I can survive so can you even if I have to drag you every step of the way. Teenagers make stupid decisions everyday, they all feel that no one has ever been where they are and that they will do anything for the pain to go away. Add magic and voila you can escape into an animagus form and being a teen you figure what the hell lets leap out of the tower window because I can fly. Oops well at least Snape was there to put him back together in more ways then one. I love this Snape and cannot wait to finish the sequel.

I do like stories where Snape gets his head out his ass and becomes the snarky, iron covered marshmallow heart that we all love. Not to mention his familiar that will make you laugh Skullduggery, a raven from the Tower, smart ass, intelligent, loyal and did I mention smart ass. Au from the Troll incident where Harry ends up in the library depressed that all are celebrating the death of his parents, Snape finds him then the troll does. Nothing ties you together better then fighting a troll.

Lovely Christmas story I have to admit I fell a little in love with Augustus Prince Severus's grandfather. Now that was a true lord and warrior. The Dursleys decide to get rid of Harry in an innovative way, they dump in a manger in a creche scene and our favorite Potion Master happens to be passing by depressed at his life. This is a story where he does not join the Deatheators instead concentrating on getting his Masters. At his wits end at dealing with a sick toddler which was funny because been there, done that he finds a letter from his mother telling him to go to his grandfather. He does and this is the story of Harry raised as a Snape not a weapon.

He continually misinterprets facts and takes action based on that that causes others to take action and you have a comedy of errors done in harry potter style. Funny story written clearly where the reader can see where the train wreck is going and it is believable and the author has the characterization done well.

an excellent story well written adventure around every corner and some of the obvious holes in Harry Potter are being explained and fixed, cannot wait for the next chapter.

Buffy and crew find themselves in real danger when the world decides that Vampires are misunderstood and vampire slayers are murders. Buffy makes the decision that it is time to leave when all slayers and those that help them are to be put to the death. She is tired of dying for those who do not give a damn. they make the mistake of asking is she has any last words, poor fools.

"I WISH that this world and its people learn what it is to be without slayer protection, that all the slayers and our allies be sent to a world where we can save people and where we will not be seen as the enemy and freaks."

Even as she cried out the wish Dawn was moving her hand she threw the blood out and a voice cried out. "Wish granted and good luck slayer! With the blood of the key I open a portal and send the champions to a world where they can be safe and I claim this one for my own So mote be!"

So begins their journey to the Harry Potter world they arrive through the veil in time to pick up a hitchhiker (gee wonder who that could be) and decide to turn the wizarding world upside down especially when Buffy gets mad at everything she learns about the new world and vows to be its champion and fix it and magic of course picks that moment to listen. All hail Queen Buffy. Poor Harry, poor Dumbledore, poor Wizarding world.

I love this story it is a fresh concept and there is little or no character bashing. Dudley gets a wake-up call when they are 10 years old when another child points out that he is the freak for what his family is doing. This starts him to question his and his parents behavior and Petunia finally grows a backbone and decides it is time to leave. She contacts Severus and tells him everything not sparing herself. He decides to get involved, there is a wild flight from a crazed Vernon, living on a dragon preserve, a resurrected Tom Riddle that is bonded to a dead dragon to keep him on the straight and narrow, animagus forms, a father son relationship with Severus, Lucius falls for a squib and Dudley is a wizard and something only rarely seen an evil Neville Longbottom. An excellent story.

Family Bonds (Harry Potter) WIP

The wrong boy who lived but done without the usual abuse and character bashing. Harry is neglected but not intentionaly and not drastically it is more of a benign neglect if that is possible. In this case Albus asks Severus to babysit Harry while the Potters take the other twin to specialist after specialist to find out the power he has and how to activate it. Slowly Harry spends more time with Severus who figures out that he is actually the boy who lived but when he tries to tell them James is to busy being mad that Snape is taking care of Harry. Eventually Severus and Harry develop a father son relationship that is different then most stories. Harry realizes that it is up to him to defeat Voldemort and protect his twin and parents. Smart, powerful, sneaky Harry. A great story and hope it updates soon.

Digging for Bones (Harry Potter) WIP

Sad but excellent story about abuse and the lingering trauma. When a student dies due to family abuse the entire student body is investigated and Severus finds that he was wrong about Harry and decides it is time to let everyone know that he is in fact Harry's biological father. The story is intense and shows a side of Severus and the other characters that is worth reading. While the story is not complete it is already at 51 chapters and I cannot wait for the update.
