Kirk/Wonder Woman

Awesome story, hands down the best  Star Trek crossover story I have read to date and trust me that is a lot of stories. It is so smoothly done that you don't think of it as a crossover. The characters remain true to themselves Diana doesn't just leap on this to her reincarnation of someone she loved. Actually she can't stand him at first because here is this underachieving, giant smartass child who is the spitting image of a brave, heroic man. Later after the third movie is when the plot really takes off and now she is dealing with a mature, seasoned captain. Still the relationship moves at a slow realistic pace as she doesn't want to be unfair to Kirk and see a dead love when looking at him. The explanation as why the world does not remember the justice league is heartbreaking. The fight scenes are outstanding and you will laugh and cry through the story. The ending was not what I thought it would be but it was perfect. The epilogue was beautifully executed and kept true to who the characters were. I mean Uhura as president yeah I could see that. I don't think I have read a story I enjoyed more and this one I will be downloading to my kindle for the next long car trip.

When Worlds Collide by elfinblue
Gen NCIS/Supernatural

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9018850/21/When-Worlds-Collide

Good story with a humorous twist to it. This is a crossover between NCIS and Supernatural. There are no real pairings just hints. This story is about Crowley's brilliant plan to get rid of the brothers by targeting Gibbs team and making the brothers look guilty. It doesn't work and you are dragged along for a wild ride as the crack team decides to show the Fed's how it is done. DiNozzo and Dean get along like two peas in a pod. The NCIS team come up with the idea that Dean and Sam are really chasing terrorists that they call monsters when they are actually monsters acting as terrorists. Abby is wonderful and really gets into the whole sigils and accidentally bans Castiel almost killing Dean. It's a good story, the brothers get to clear their name, the government learns what is out there and the team is tighter than ever.

Mischief's Heir

Mischief’s Heir Series by mad_fairy

Gen

Excellent set of stories I love how one small change can have a large cascading effect. In this case Harry prays to Loki the summer between 1st and 2nd year after being locked up and is answered. This begins a change of events that leads to the stars. It not only affects Harry but Loki as well. Each story is well plotted moving the characters along without making them too OOC. There are different pairings due to the different circumstances and Dumbledore is out maneuvered with ease by the trickster god. There is no character bashing just some characters that are being more fleshed out with better potential. Each story is funny with just enough drama to keep it real. I love what happened with Hermione because really she was that pushy. She shows actual development into a full 3d character with flaws as well as virtues. Dumbledore’s reaction to the “rescue” of Tom Riddle is funny. Even more hilarious is the reaction of Shield, Tony, and Peggy Carter. Thanks to the Unspeakables trying to keep the muggles busy while moving planets Captain America is found 20 years early, then comes the Winter Soldier. There is even a nod to the Avengers movie when Loki invades earth and Shield is sure the wizards are back. Luckily his wards have been looking for him and send Thor to rescue him. The Avengers have no idea what is happening and the ending is just perfect.  An enjoyable set of stories I hope the author comes back to show us their lives on the new planet.

The Adventures of Godiva, Mischief and Mayhem Series
1st Story: This Gonna Be Good by GStarshine

Fem Harry/Fred/George

Excellent story with a lot of action, humour, sarcasm, and a general vengeance is mine attitude. While not a great fan of fem Harry I do enjoy a good one. This is already past 400k and does not seem to stop. Harriet loses everyone thanks to traitors Ron & Hermione and a power hungry Dumbledore who has aligned with Thanos. This includes her soulmates Fred & George and her infant son. While dying she inadvertently triggers a Phoenix power and travels back to just before Hogwarts. This time she is going to save her family which includes the Avengers and watch those that betrayed her burn as her world once did. She wants her family of choice back and decides to make friends anonymously with the pre-Avengers. She is determined to save them all including Loki which really pisses of Odin. Turns out there are Phoenixes Laws in Asgard and being considered one of their flock is an honor. Odin paranoid that a Phoenix will rule against him and take the throne tries to enslave her and pays dearly for going against a Phoenix as well as someone under phoenix protection.  A hell of a read with ghosts, transforming animals, suspicious Not-Avengers, a pissed off Fury and a Dumbledore who can't believe how bad his plans are blowing up in his face. Harriet Potter has stacked the deck and is playing to win. The characters are well written and the story flows smoothly. Even is you did not know the background stories the characters are fleshed out enough without being redundant. Of course changing the future is not easy and one change can start an avalanche.

A Second Chance
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/4260190/31/
Gen Harry Potter

Great story and one of my favorite story lines where Harry is raised by his future self. In this one he is raised by James's blood adopted brother Diablos Potter. Who we later find out is Harry from another timeline. The action is great and the heroes flawed. With Harry being raised differently all the interactions are different especially with Draco and Hermione. There is no pairing but still the interactions among the characters shows the deep affection and trust that motivates them to protect each other no matter who stands in the way. The depiction of Dumbledore in both lives is disturbing because there is a very fine line between devoted to a cause and a fanatic to a cause. I love the loyalty and sassyness of Diablos house elf. There is a follow up story I have not read yet but I am sure it is just as good.

Tony Dinozzo, Undercover Marine
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11550174/19/
Tony/JJ

Great story with a premise I have not seen before. Tony DiNozzo is actually Major Anthony DiNozzo, USMC who is undercover in NCIS to seek out corruption. In the sixth year of being Agent he meets JJ Jareau of the BAU and falls in love. He eventually receives permission to read her in and this is their story. There is romance, angst, wedding, and pregnancy in addition to the usual bullets, crime and team drama. Very entertaining and one I read before and lost. You really feel for poor Tony who is nothing like his NCIS persona but he is the best at what he does and is a dedicated marine. The author focused on how hard the relationship was and just how many compromises they had to make as a couple which included hiding everything about Tony to her teammates. I wish the author had continued with an epilogue of what happened when the baby is born but all in all a great story with a satisfying ending.

Years at War Series by eristarisis
Part 1: Triwizard Warfare
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6859194/1/Years-at-War-Part-1-Triwizard-Warfare
Het Harry/Hermione, Harry/Fleur

Excellent1st of three in the series. There is action galore and beginning in the 2nd story sex. The characters are well fleshed out and behavior fits the world they belong in. That said they are also the most depressingly sad stories I have willingly read. I usually try to stay away from unless I am sure they have a happy ending. This one has a strange optimistic ending. It is a true depiction of war, good guys lose as often as they win, poor Harry never catches a break. That said this author is very, very good and makes no bones about writing a story where everyone dies. Well not everyone but close. It is a story about child soldiers doing the work that the adults failed at. About loss, betrayal, that forgiving an enemy can lead to a knife in your back and how sometimes love is just not enough. Good intentions can lead to bad consequences and sometimes your temper can be your own downfall. while they may not be my favorite type of story, they are some of the best I have read.

Bones Of The Reaper by steamfan
Gen Doom/Star Trek
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6268033/27/Bones-of-the-Reaper

Excellent story about Bones actually being Reaper from Doom. The crew of the Enterprise find out when McCoy accidentally gets his skull cracked when he, Jim, and Spock are captured. When he awakens he is missing time and does not remember being McCoy. Instead Spock and Jim are introduced Reaper who helps them fight their way out. Later he explains who and what he was. Now though there is danger when idiots (cough, Komack, cough) try to reopen the sites on earth and Mars. The writer managed to integrate the Bones and Grimm characters without losing anything of our favorite snarky doctor. The surprising introduction of Bones' daughter and her comments is funny and sad at the same time. The characterization is done well with no one over acting and they even use some of his known quirks and tying them to the past. Jim of course can't wait to point out that Bones needed his big sister to help him. Discreetly of course since Bones already threatened him with painfully embarrassing physical.

Gen Salazar Slytherin & Godric Gryffindor

Awesome story with a different twist on the Salazar is Harry.  The story is hard to describe and lets just say no good deed goes unpunished. Salazar was trying to stop his descendant and thanks to polyjuice and the horcrux accidentally looses his memories and grows up as Harry Potter until he gets his letter. Then the memories come back and he turns the wizarding world upside down and inside out. He finds to his surprise in 2nd year he is not the only immortal. I have to say my favorite character is Nora Slytherin's snake. She is hilarious. The story is well thought out and paced appropriately. Salazar and Godric are not super-powered, they make mistakes, sometimes it comes back to bite them in the ass. Nobody is suddenly best friends. While the story is not finished it is over 400,000 and stops after 5th year. Definitely worth a read

Three To Backstep by sinyk
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10766595/1/Harry-Potter-Three-to-Backstep
Het Threesome Hermione/Harry/Daphne

Pretty good story, a response to a challenge. This one is a Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Daphne Greengrass soul bonds who are given a last chance to make it right. I like this one because it made me laugh and is one you could read at work always important. Harry is sarcastic, angry, still a little naive, Hermione is determined, brilliant, still wanting to trust but knowing you can't, and Daphne is traumatized but still cool and politically knowledgeable. They make an awesome team and intend to set the wizarding world on its ear. Some of Harry speeches make you want to stand up and say Hell yeah it's time someone said that. A good story that is entertaining with a twist on the going back in time. Love the angels.

Bargaining by protagonist
http://archiveofourown.org/works/1108212

Awesome story I love a good time travel story and this one is something else. How many people think "if only" in this case it's Loki. He answers a summons from Jane only to find that Thor is dead. He can't handle it especially since there is no one to blame. No one comes forward to take credit for his murder. No matter how hard he attacked Thor he was not supposed to die and the fact it was at another's hand is even worse. He finds a way but there is a heavy price, his life and future, in addition if anyone finds out it will all go back to the previous timeline. But he is no coward and his life has always revolved around Thor as if he was his sun without him there is no point. He goes back further then he thought and begins to try and ensure that Frigga and Thor survive. There are twists and turns as Loki is forced to take a hard look at his life. While there is some fairly emotional and angsty moments there is a lot of action and humor because fate loves laughing at people. Poor Loki. The author has a good handle on Loki’s character as well Odin. The flashbacks give the reader the basics of what happened and the more you learn the more you realize just how much Loki lost his mind.
