Awesome story I love a good time travel story and this one is something else. How many people think "if only" in this case it's Loki. He answers a summons from Jane only to find that Thor is dead. He can't handle it especially since there is no one to blame. No one comes forward to take credit for his murder. No matter how hard he attacked Thor he was not supposed to die and the fact it was at another's hand is even worse. He finds a way but there is a heavy price, his life and future, in addition if anyone finds out it will all go back to the previous timeline. But he is no coward and his life has always revolved around Thor as if he was his sun without him there is no point. He goes back further then he thought and begins to try and ensure that Frigga and Thor survive. There are twists and turns as Loki is forced to take a hard look at his life. While there is some fairly emotional and angsty moments there is a lot of action and humor because fate loves laughing at people. Poor Loki. The author has a good handle on Loki’s character as well Odin. The flashbacks give the reader the basics of what happened and the more you learn the more you realize just how much Loki lost his mind.

Good story, funny as  hell in spots, in which Loki under the influence of a lot, lot of Vodka agrees with Darcy that dry spells (once that is explained to him) suck and he has been under a 300 year one. They break it together and the hilarity starts. There is a little angst, a little drama, a lot of romance, some fighting, humor out the kazoo and some lovely scenes between Darcy and Loki. Loki learns what it means to love a human woman and what it means to put someone first. Darcy is unbelievable she at one point declares war on Odin and calls him a rat bastard. Loki's minion (Stark) comes through for him and Darcy when they go to rescue him. All in all a good lighthearted look at a Loki/Darcy romance.

Awesome story I love the Avengers but I have to admit Loki is my favorite and this story revolves around him. The story opens with Tony and Steve hearing a noise on the roof and finding a tortured Loki still with the gag on bleeding to death. There is something about a helpless Loki that tugs at your heartstrings. This story has it all, torture, violence, redemption, betrayal, strange allies, death, kids, helpless kittens and so much more. The meeting with Thantos made me cry, the meeting with Hela made me giggle and Loki in battle is magnificent. This is a Loki that has gone through the fire and comes out stronger then before with friends willing to stand beside him no matter the cost. Awesome, awesome story.
